Jefferson Hare

Jeff Hare, co-founder and CEO of Organ Perfusion and Cellular Services, is committed to advancing both aspects of the company’s mission: enhancing the preservation and transportation of organs for transplant and collaborating with researchers to address the challenges of isolating vital primary cells from non-transplantable organs. In addition to his leadership at Organ Perfusion and Cellular Services, Jeff is the founder and CEO of Transplant Staffing Resources, which specializes in providing staffing solutions for Organ Procurement Organizations. His extensive background in the donation and transplantation field includes service to two OPOs, Indiana Donor Network and Gift of Life Michigan. Jeff’s team currently works with 33 OPOs to provide services in all aspects of organ and tissue recovery. Transplant Staffing Resources has a team of over 160 contract employees that include organ coordinators, family services coordinators, organ preservationists, tissue recovery technicians and remote call center staff. The inspiration for Organ Perfusion and Cellular Services can be traced back to his service to these organizations, as Jeff recognized a critical need for organ preservation flyout services and mechanical device perfusion to help bridge a gap between the lifesaving services provided by OPOs and transplant centers. Previously, Jeff was a firefighter and U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman, which makes Organ Perfusion and Cellular Services a proud veteran-owned company. Jeff is passionate about organ donation and transplantation. His mission is to give every individual/family the opportunity to donate and honor every lifesaving gift of life whether it is through organ transplant or cellular research.
